Email Marketing

If you subscribe to our email list, request certain resources, or otherwise consent to receive marketing communications, we may use information such as your name, email address, interests, and interactions with our communications to provide newsletters, educational content, product information, announcements, and promotional offers.

We currently use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) as an email marketing service provider. Information used for email marketing may therefore be processed through that service.

Coaching and Client Information

If you inquire about or participate in coaching or other professional services, we may collect information reasonably necessary to communicate with you, schedule and provide services, maintain appropriate business records, and follow up concerning the services you requested.

Please use reasonable care when deciding what personal information to provide through email, forms, coaching sessions, or other communications. Unless specifically requested and appropriate for the service being provided, please do not send highly sensitive personal information through ordinary email or web forms.

LifeBusinessPurpose™ coaching and educational services are not therapy, mental-health treatment, legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, or other licensed professional services unless expressly stated otherwise.

Payments and Purchases

Purchases may be processed through third-party ecommerce platforms and payment processors, including SamCart and payment providers made available through our checkout.

We generally do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card information. Payment information is handled by the applicable payment processor according to its own terms, privacy policies, and security practices.

We may receive and maintain information relating to your transaction, such as your name, email address, products or services purchased, transaction status, and other information necessary to fulfill your order and maintain appropriate business records.

Service Providers and Third-Party Tools

We use third-party service providers to help operate our business. Depending on how you interact with us, these providers may process information on our behalf.

These services may include ecommerce and digital-product delivery platforms such as SamCart; payment processors; email marketing platforms such as Kit (formerly ConvertKit); business email, document storage, calendars, and productivity services such as Google Workspace; design, video, audio, transcription, and content-production tools such as Canva and Descript; artificial-intelligence tools; and website hosting, analytics, scheduling, customer-support, and other business-service providers.

These third parties may process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

We seek to use third-party services for legitimate business purposes and to limit information shared with them to what is reasonably appropriate for the service or task involved.

Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools

We may use artificial-intelligence tools to assist with activities such as drafting, editing, research, organization, brainstorming, content development, and other business operations.

When using these tools, we seek to avoid providing personal information that is unnecessary for the task and to use information in a manner consistent with our business purposes and applicable privacy obligations.

We do not rely on artificial-intelligence tools as a substitute for licensed professional judgment where such professional services are required.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our websites and third-party service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate our websites, remember preferences, understand website usage, measure performance, and support other functionality.

Your browser may allow you to restrict, block, or delete cookies. Doing so may affect certain website functions or features.

How We Share Information

We may share personal information with service providers that help us operate our business and provide our products and services, including ecommerce platforms, payment processors, email and communication providers, cloud and productivity providers, website and analytics providers, scheduling services, and other vendors that perform services on our behalf.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process; respond to lawful requests; protect our rights, property, or security; investigate fraud, misuse, or security concerns; or protect the rights and safety of others.

We do not sell personal information for money.

Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing products and services, maintaining appropriate business and transaction records, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information. However, no method of transmitting information over the internet or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Third-Party Websites and Services

Our websites, products, emails, and other communications may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, resources, or services.

We do not control the privacy or security practices of those third parties. When you interact with a third-party service, its own terms and privacy policies may apply. We encourage you to review those policies when appropriate.
